Pesach 2009, the Rides

Having a great time on the teacup rides. They were so excited to get to ride in "glezelech."



Waiting for the dragon ride to start...


...and... ZOOOM!


Now this... oy. I feel so bad for poor Zusha. He saw this slide- and it's YELLOW. He insisted on going.


I didn't want to let. It's higher than our 2nd floor window! But he begged and said he will be careful and won't be scared. So I asked Hillel to go with him. Then Gedalya chimed in that he ALSO wants to go. I told him that it's for big kids only.
"Ich bin gloys! Ich bin shoyn dlai!"
Can you ague with this logic?
So, the three of them went up. The plan was for Gedalya to ride on Hillel's lap, and for Zusha to ride along next to them.
But since when do things go according to plan?

Gedalya tantrummed that he wanted to go on his own.


And Zusha didn't wait for anyone and just slid!
He got really scared, poor kid. He held onto the sides for dear life. See the look on his face? That's not a smile. That's him clenching his teeth in terror.

He came down shaking and petting his poor hands which he probably burned by clutching the sides at a high speed. Then he got up and stepped onto the next slide, where Hillel and Gedalya where rapidly descending. I didn't grasp what was happening fast enough to get him off, and CRASH. They all landed in a pile. B"H no one was hurt. Just one scared Zusha.
Now, thinking it over, we should have gone twice. Once with Zusha and once with Gedalya. Oh, well. We know for next time.
