One month old~Two months old
Three months old~Four months old
Five months old
And now!
She recognizes her name and loves playing with toys. If she drops a toy, she starts screaming as if it's the greatest tragedy in the history of the world.
She is wearing size 6-9 months - 12 months clothes.
Adel's naps are many and transient. Some are as short as 10 minutes, although the average is 25 minutes or so. I hope she combines some of them and will take longer naps.
AND! Today she tried to eat a cookie!
I was eating while holding a crying Adel. Sometimes, when I give her something to hold it distracts her from her crying. So I gave her the cookie. Just to hold. And little Miss Smartypants- what do you think she does? She PUTS IT IN HER MOUTH.She NEVER puts toys in her mouth. Not even her favorite toy (her feet.)
Of course I took it away, but I'm so pleasantly surprised that she figured it out. I've been noticing that she licks her lips when she watches somebody eat or drink, but this time, she ended up with cream on her nose
. I'm not planning to start her on table foods yet, though. All in her own time.See Adel's little fluff of hair?

ReplyDeleteI wanted to do something more for 6 months, but didn't know what. I considered photographing her next to her first stretchie that she wore, but I didn't feel like pulling it out of storage.
So maybe I did copy your "timeline" this month. ;)
I should have started earlier. My birthday is on the 22nd as well. I wasn't on the ball back then though. That is a cute idea. Save it for her first birthday. Oh, scuse me- for their first birthday. We really did nicely on our timing didn't we.
