April 2009 Photos

Just some photos from the last month that didn't make it to any posts!

Zusha, showing off his baby sis.

One of my favorite camera tricks is standing far away from the subject and opening the zoom fully. My zoom is 10x, and it makes for fantastic blurred backgrounds. So, I sat the boys down in this picturesque area and backed up to take some shots. But Mr. Z was not happy. He was not happy at all. Don't I know that the proper way to take a photo is by standing next to the subject?? HUH??

The kids reading together.

Just hangin' out under the chair... hmmm-hm-hmmmm...

Yummy kid.

My mind still boggles at this unprompted hug.

This next group of photos is from one of the Chol Hamoed days. There is a building with a ramp on one of the blocks around here, and whenever we pass it, the boys MUST run and climb all over it!

Why, hello!

Mama, it's 2 AM. Feed me.

Sometimes you just luck out with photos. Adel was waving around a white blanket while I took pictures. Most of them had the blanket covering her face, but then I got this gem:

No, Adel is NOT sitting at the edge of an ocean. I feel obligated to offer this tidbit of information since, upon seeing this photo, Hillel asked me when I took the kids to the ocean. I am not a deranged mother to place my 6 month old infant who can barely sit, perched beside a cliff with a mini fence half her height separating her from the ocean depths.
Those are white petals upon asphalt. :)

Little guys...

...in the skies.

Ruffle tushie!!

How cool are these boys? :D

This is cool as well. We were walking on the next block over (43rd street- we live on 42nd) and I decided to take a look between to houses in the middle of the block... and was able to see our house through two back yards, three front yards and a street!

The air conditioner towards the bottom of the photo is our landlady's, and the windows right above it are ours. :)
