Troublemakers!!!

Last night I was putting the boys to bed, but fell asleep myself-- before they did. (Blame it on the first trimester exhaustion.) Suddenly, I was awakened from my snooze by the sound of running water and giggling children.

Uh-oh.

I followed the sounds to THIS scene:

The two of them, in their pajamas, turning the shower on and off. Apparently, Zusha convinced Gedalya to go into the tub, but refrained from doing so himself! Hahaha.

I quickly changed Gedalya's pajamas and hauled them off to bed once more. :)

:D :D Purim :D :D

This year Purim was on a Friday (March 21). I was a little disappointed about that, because I like Purim to have its own full day, and not be cut off. Nevertheless, it was so much fun, so busy, so active, that I didn't even feel that it was a "short" day.

This year I decided to reuse costumes. I wasn't up to much of anything, with the way I feel with this pregnancy. I also didn't want to work so hard for a Friday Purim, and besides, I did have really nice costumes that I made that were only used once.

So Zusha was Leibush, his costume from 2 years ago. And Gedalya was a Shepsele, the costume Zusha wore 3 years ago. They were both beyond excited to be "animals."

In shul on Purim night (Thursday.) I bought Zusha a really nice children's megilla that kept him quite occupied during leining.

When I dressed them both in their costumes in the morning, they were so excited to see each other that way! They really petted each other and hugged and spoke to each other as if they were animals. :)

It's About Time for Spring

Yesterday was a nice, warm day. An oasis in this dreary weather. It's about time for spring!
The kids had an awesome time running around freely, without being bundled up. :)

Zusha is "building an airplane" :D


They were just SO happy to run without coats that they even co-operated for a hug!
