December 2007 Photos

Havdala. Zusha is so into it, especially singing with his Tatte afterwards.

Um, yeah... that's the whole milk bottle. So?

My handsome little guy:

Astronaut Gedalya ready for landing.

Reading a story:

Making faces at each other, like all real brothers should:

Shopping for Shabbos:

Would you look at those curls peeking out!

Um, yeah. Remind me not to show this one to Gedalya when he's older.

Ooooh, foamy soap! Fun, fun, fun!

One, two, three, swiiingyyy!

Sharing fun times with friends.

Gedalya loves to climb on his Tatte's bed when he wakes up in the morning to watch the cars, cats, people, garbage trucks...

Just Another Day With the Poozils

Look how lovingly Zusha put his Baby Berele to sleep! He even gave him a bottle nipple that he unearthed somewhere.

Baby Berele in a bassinette. Photo by Zusha- pretty good!

Warning: This is what happens when you are careless about cleaning up after yourself in the kitchen. That's peanut butter. When I called Hillel to see, he said, "You gave it to him on purpose so you can have something to blog about."
@_@MEN@_@ (Those are eye-rolling emoticons if anyone didn't realize.)

Zusha's adorable new paw-print mittens. Too cute for words.

Gedalya in roller skates! I got these for Zusha for his 3rd birthday, but he is a little afraid of them. He used them outside one time, clutching onto me or his grandfather for dear life. He also used them indoors, on the carpet ONLY.
When Gedalya found the roller skates and asked me to put them on, my first reaction was, "Oh, no..." I thought he would reacquaint his little nose with the floor. But to my pleasure, he sailed across the room beautifully!

Here & There

Zusha drew a sun in the park with chalk. Isn't it the cutest? He did it all by himself.

A cute little kitty that lives on our block.

FIGS! There are a few fig trees around here, and the fruit seems good.

City pigeons are nuts. Completely. I was feeding them, and they were actually trusting (read: dumb) enough to stick their little birdie heads under my shoes.

This is a bush that grows across the street from us. I am constantly amazed and awed by it- the color that it turns in the fall is unbelievable. It starts with a few leaves, at the tips, and slowly the entire bush becomes a bright magenta color. The house in front of which it grows is old and was just fenced off to be torn down. I know they will take the bush down, too. I just hope they won't touch it until next fall. It is really an amazing sight to watch, and I was planning to show it to the children every fall. Doesn't seem like it will happen, though.

Fall carpet...

Interesting berries...

Bee collecting pollen

Twilight

A cricket in the city in the winter. I tried to get a better picture of it in full, but the boys were climbing all over me to see. :)

This scenery is totally uncharacteristic for the city. It looks like some wondrous mountain region. But no, those are just clouds, radiant with the sun beaming off them, and framed by majestic autumn trees.
