Flowers Bloom in Spring, Fledgling Birds Take Wing...

Did I ever mention I love spring? What, only once or twice? ;) Well, in case you forgot... I love spring! And I can't stop photographing it. I wonder if there is a name for my diagnosis. :P

So here I present and overload of gorgeous spring photos.

Flowers in the Spring...

Fledgling Birds Take Wing...
There aren't as many fledglings right now as mamas preparing for their fledglings, though.

Mourning dove

Sparrow

Woodpecker, right in our yard!

Pigeon

Crow
(Notice the stick in her beak. She was looking for a place to start her nest.)

We also had a robin in our yard on Shabbos. We usually have blue-jays and cardinals. The boys love to watch them. Once Zusha took a page of nature stickers (that are made from photos, not drawings) that he had and stuck a bunch of bird stickers on his window. There was a blue-jay, cardinal, humming bird, robin and chickadee.
"These are the birds I like to see outside the window," Zusha said.
So the next day, a robin came to our yard for the first time! We were all excited about it, but not Zusha. He was watching the robin calmly and happily.
"I knew he was going to come, that's why I put a sticker of him."

I'll let you know when we see a chickadee and humming bird! :D

  1. Happy and beautiful! I like Zusha's comment on the robin.

  2. What tone are your sepia pictures? When I take sepia pictures, the color is awful! how do you take yours?

  3. I don't know... there is just a sepia setting. Maybe it's different when you use flash and when you don't? I don't use flash usually.

If you don't like your camera's sepia tone, maybe try black and white. That's universal.
