Guess what I can do!
I can sit holding on!
Aerial view:
Adel really likes this new position! She can sit for longer periods of time, which she enjoys doing. And she exercises her arms and chest- which will hopefully lead to her lifting herself higher during tummy time.
After a trial run on my bed two weeks ago, she was ready for some serious training on the kitchen floor with a chair as her prop last week.
But as all good things, sitting practice, too, must come to an end some time...
And this is the grand finale!
Disclaimer: No baby girls were harmed during this practice. When Adel gets tired of holding on, she actually lets go very slowly and gradually, and lowers herself to the floor gently.
This is delicious and hilarious. My favorite-est part is...the disclaimer!
ReplyDeleteGosh my baby is deliciously slow. He will probably follow his sisters & sit up at 7 something months & get teeth at 9.
ReplyDeleteFunny you say that... i think Adel is quite behind. She can't sit without holding on, but when she holds, she can sit for 10 minutes or more.
ReplyDeleteShe doesn't roll, push up on her arms or anything like that.
At her age, Gedalya was standing while holding on, and Adel is happy with lifting her head slightly.
