Days 1,2 & 3
The boys stayed up for the first Seder. They were pleasantly surprised that they got to make their own kiddush. In the middle of magid I asked them to put on pajamas. That's when Zusha's eyes teared up, "Ober mir hobn nisht gegesn gornisht!" Now that just wasn't true. I gave them the seuda to eat during magid. Then Zusha pointed to the ke'ara, "From here!" We explained that the food on the ke'ara isn't for eating; it stays the entire time. But he wouldn't hear of it, so we gave each boy a plate with an egg, a lettuce leaf, celery root carpas, and some charoses.
The next day we went to the Shains for the seuda, and then to the park.
Unfortunately, the boys didn't want to nap, and were not able to stay up for the second seder. But I gave the boys kartofel and zaltz vasser during our daytime seuda to make up for it. They love dipping their karpas!

The second day of Yom Tov was Erev Shabbos as well. I took care of the cooking in the morning, and we were able to go to Zusi's house in the afternoon. The kids played so nicely, and Zusha asked me if Zusi can come to our house. It was almost Shabbos, so we couldn't do it then, but we invited him to come the next day, on Shabbos. His father brought him, and the boys played together for about an hour. Everyone had a good time, B"H.
On Sunday, the first day of chol hamoed, Hila came to visit with all the kids. A wonderful time was had by all. The little ones ran and climbed, while the big ones played around with their
The breathtakingly gorgeous trees made for the best backdrop for photos.
Hila's girls:
My heart just about melted when I saw this:
The boy Poozils actually hugging without being forced or threatened!
My Yaya.
When we came home, we all enjoyed home-made ices and some Pesach cake.
We froze the juice, put it through the food processor to make slush, and froze it again. Nice and fluffy now!
The cake has a lot of ground nuts in it-the best way to make good Pesach cake is to drown the potato-starch flavor with nuts.

The second day of chol hamoed, Monday:
We got the kids dressed in their new Pesach outfits and out we headed for the rides. Of course, we had to get some photos in first
It was challenging to get a picture with all the kids looking good. I'm not even aiming for "smiling" or "looking at the camera" because I don't see those standards as necessary. I don't mind a serious look, as long as it's not pained or melancholy. I don't mind if they look away, as long as I see most of the face.
My kids climb walls.
And then we were off to the rides!
On our way we found a flowery branch that fell off a tree and let Adel have it.
Now this post is long enough... More about the rides in another post!
Looks like you had a beautiful Pesach. I will have to try that slushy juice trick.
