Some Nature Snapshots

A dandelion field I wish we had access to. It's an empty, fenced-off lot. I took a picture from between the slats. I'm dreaming of how I'd teach the boys to make dandelion wreaths.

This flower was growing in someone's front yard. Paved yard, I might add. There was a tiny little area which wasn't paved. About six square inches of hard, packed earth, from which this beauty grew. So amazing that it wasn't planted, but grew on its own in such an unlikely spot.
Zusha: "I don't like the flower. It has a spider in the middle."

An ant crawling up a tree.

Gorgeous tree in bloom.

I caught this picture of the sparrow mid-hop!

Just a little girlie, enjoying the flowers.

*sniff*sniff* Smells nice!

So it should taste just as good, right?

*chomp*

The End!

  2. Yes! She followed me home and we kept her. :)We let her live in our house, and in exchange, she agreed to be our baby. It's a win-win arrangement. :)

    Like her dress?

Oh, and... yeah, I think we live in the same area. ;) If I would have lived in even a slightly more vegetated area, I wouldn't be posting my rare finds with such pride. :P
