I've Said it Before: Oy, That Boy!

I think I need to make a separate label for all the shenanigans posts. I sure have enough of them!

One morning I heard a rattling noise in the kitchen. Gedalya, who was next to me, asked, "Tatte is in the kitchen?" I was pretty sure he was not, so what was the source of this rattling noise?

I came into the kitchen and promptly pinpointed the source of the sound. The washing machine was on spin cycle, but it's not supposed to rattle. Upon second glance...

There was a string extending from the washing machine to... where?

All the way up to the blinds! Gedalya took a string from the blinds and stuck the end into the washing machine.
The rattling noise came from the end bead

that got stuck between the drum and the machine body. I couldn't pull it out!

I managed to pull out a great length of string, which showed evidence of trauma from spinning:
(notice the spoons still stuck between our window panels.)

But I got stuck at the bead. Hillel had to pry it loose.

Oy, that Gedalya BOY!
