"Mama, why did Hashem create people? When you get old and go to Hashem, can you ask Him?"
"Mama, I'm SO hungry!" (Said at bedtime, of course.)
"You can't be hungry! You just ate a big supper and couldn't even finish everything."
"How do you know what I feel? You are not me."
"How do you make new numnums for Adel when she finishes drinking?"
"How does rain happen?"
After I explained, "How is water made? Can we make water?"
His questions surely keep me on my toes!

ReplyDeleteBut Mama's got to shell out big answers. And try to keep the kid from having a nervous breakdown and asking me things such as, "Will I die in the street or at home?" "We'll all die together, right?" Bleh
