Whoops... I went too fast! Little Adi is exhibiting her "astronaut exercise" look.
Hillel made up that term for the action that causes the expression above. ^
When Adel was still very new, I'd play with her by holding her under the arms, lifting her slowly and lowering her. But regardless of how slowly and gently I did it, she'd get tensed up, as if I was going too fast, spread her little fingers, make that funny face and grunt. Oh, it was so, so cute. Sometimes I did it to break the colic streak. I'd get a much needed comic relief, and she'd forget to return to her wailing.
I guess I was going too fast for her on the swing here, so she made that delicious face again, after all those months.

ReplyDeleteYup, Adi makes some hilarious faces. Neither of the boys ever did it that well. :D If she's bothered by something you did, she will put on a look of contempt and stick her tongue out. Silly girl.
