Adi-bits

Last Shabbos we tried to give Adel some solids. She was watching us bite into the challa at the seuda and was chomping on her toy, so I decided to give it a run.
The verdict: She enjoys licking the fruit, or my finger dipped into it, but she pushes anything more substantial out with her tongue. I'm happy with her decision. I was perfectly content giving her only numnums, but I felt I had to offer her solids so she can decide.

Just this morning, I disovered Adi's fourth tooth! Finally, her mouth will be symmetrical with all four of her front teeth in.

Aaaand, she claps! The most adorable thing in the world. (Well, second and third only to Zusha's and Gedalya's first claps. ;)) I can't get it on video because the camera distracts her when it appears on the scene.

  1. Just as of today, she claps spontaneously on her own. Until now, I had to sing and clap and guide her hands in order for her to get the idea and start clapping. But today during the library story hour, she clapped on her own a couple of times. :)
