July 3-9
I didn't write anything for Sunday. It was just a quiet rainy day, and we just took a walk.
Adi's adorable sneakers... they are already too small to wear with braces, so I put the liner back in and let her wear it just like that, one last time. :)
Sometimes bus stop ads can make little boys very happy!
Monday was spent in the park.
This park used to be the closest one to our house, but even though it's not that close anymore, we prefer it to the park that's right near us.
Adi with her all-grown-up hairstyle. I'm happy her hair finally all fits into a ponytail1
Daredevil baby.
I was taking pictures of Gedalya... but I didn't realize that he wasn't just crouching in the grass looking all sweet.
He had caught a butterfly in his net!
Unfortunately, my camera battery died right when I came up to see the butterfly. So I took the boys' camera out and photographed the event.
All these photos with the net are from the boys' camera... not bad quality for a dinky point and shoot!
That night, Independence Day, we weren't planning to see fireworks... but apparently there were some people shooting illegally nearby, so we saw snippets here and there.
Tuesday... a relaxing swim day. More photos in another post!
On Wednesday we went on our first trip! We visited our friends in Crown Heights. The older kids haven't seen each other in close to a year! It was great fun.
Adi discovered this little trike and made me help her up on it. She announced that this was now her seat for the rest f the visit. Not in so many words, of course, but we all got the idea. :)
Adi was getting tired, and it was time to leave. But we couldn't go into a car service right away when Adi needed to sleep. She doesn't tolerate cars well, especially not when tired! So we took a walk. We walked and we walked until we wound up at Botanical Gardens. So we went in!
More on that later...
The next day we chilled in the pool. A nice relaxing day is just what we needed after the action-packed day before!
Love your pictures! And yes, the quality of that camera is pretty good!!
ReplyDeleteAdel grew up so much, she is so cute!
you have a pool? that seals the deal, we are coming!!!
ReplyDeleteThanks Sarah Nurit! I'm getting caught up on your blog. I didn't even know you moved!
ReplyDeleteLE- Come! Come! We got two pools. One might've busted a hole. We have to blow it up again to find out for sure. But really, come on over and visit. Chill in our shady yard... we even have a little floating boat your baby can lie in if he's into the water thing. :)
I ordered an ERGO, once it arrives I'll brave the bus system with 2 kids and no carriage.... or I'll just take a car service!
