A little about our move...
These are the first photos I took of our house. Nothing was finalized then, but I knew I wanted it. This is the front. We have the first floor.
Here you can see the entire first floor. Window on the right is my bedroom. Then on the left, behind the bushes is the kitchen. Between the kitchen and bedroom you see two windows on the side of the house: our dining room. The porch and entrance on the porch belong to the upstairs neighbors, a newlywed couple who moved in about 2 months after us.
Here I was standing right inside the gate, looking at the front yard/garden. Zusha and my mother are standing in the parking space. Behind them is a swimming pool that has since been removed. The sandbox is there now.
Back yard... the kids thought the dog house was the coolest thing. They had plans to paint it in the summer. Unfortunately, my in-laws didn't like the dog house. Several weeks ago they came to visit and tore it down. Oh, well. Zusha was so mad when he came home from cheider and found out.
Moving day! The house was finally all loaded into the moving truck, and we were on our way to our new place!
Leaving our house for the last time. Bye bye!
First morning in the new house...
Adi looks happy, doesn't she? It's all a lie. She screamed non-stop for the first several days.
Our dining-room-to-be.
The second day in our new house we woke up to a warm and rainy February morning.
Adi was tentatively stepping in and out of the door.
But the boys had no reservations whatsoever!
Gedalya and Adi have this game where they put their hands together through glass and say, "Match!"
The transition was awful... the move was exhausting and draining, but we're all settled in now, and are enjoying all the space and nature. :)
