Yup! We made pompom caterpillars 
And the kids used REAL needles. 
I was impressed how well they did on their first attempt with needles. I didn't help with anything! (Well, except threading and tying... and after they were done, I finished it off for them.) At the end, they stuck the eyes on, and now they have cute little pets.

ReplyDeleteAt first i was nervous giving them needles, but then I know someone who gives her 2 year old embroidery projects to do, so I gave it a shot! I'm glad I did. Worked out great.
