Our Local, Friendly Pond

Last year I wrote about how several days of rain left us a fun gift... a mini pond.

Gedalya didn't hesitate and did what he was supposed to.
But Zusha... we all know how much Zusha just LOVES to get dirty. So he had to be coaxed a bit to romp around in the ginormous muddy puddle. He did so as a favor to us all. Thanks, Zusha!
But then...
OMG, you guys! I'm dirteeee! What did you make me doooo?

As Zusha was examining the damage and trying to clean off as many specks of mud as he could, something unexpected happened.

HELP! Someone rescue my shoe!

Because sure as pie, he wasn't going in after it barefoot!

Aaand, it's SuperYaya to the rescue!

The water shoe has been restored to its (almost) long lost owner.

And you can be sure Zusha won't let us talk him into anything any time soon!
