Adel is 5 Months Old

By five months, Adel...
~has had a hair growth spurt! Her head suddenly went from no hair, to... some. And her chupchik at the top of her head became longer as well. It's long enough to get messy under a hat. And it looks like it might be curly, but I can't be sure yet.

~loves to jump in my lap! And any other surface. As soon as her feet touch any surface, she begins to jump (while being held under the arms, of course,) with her mouth wide open in a huge, laughy smile.

~started spending more time on a quilt on the floor than in the soft gym (with the arches.) I figured that the gym doesn't encourage her to roll over, turn to the side, or try to reach toys. She's basically looking straight up. On a quilt, she tries to look to the side to see the toys and reach them. I like her to be on her side rather than her back. Tummy time isn't so popular with her.

~has outgrown almost all her 3-6 months clothes and is mostly in 6-9 months. She still wears undershirts in 3-6 and a couple of cardigans from her brothers. The Children's Place really makes boys' and girls' clothes differently sized- like 2 sizes apart!

~has rolled over once and sat up once.

~has been saying, "Nge-nge!" when her meal was interrupted for a while now. But recently she started saying it before I start feeding her, to ask for her numnums.

~is a little happier to go outside now that she doesn't need to wear 57 layers and a space suit on top.

And recently Hillel was putting away his laundry by his bed. When he was finished and started walking away, he felt his tzitzis got caught somewhere. When he looked, he saw Adel holding onto them from her crib!
