But- those pictures I've been posting of her pushing herself up in her carseat, trying to sit? Well, she's practiced, and is getting better all the time! I think she is directing her energy to move forward and up instead of to the side. Which means she's not really rolling over yet (did it once two weeks ago and no more) but she is progressing in the "forward and up" mobility.
Yesterday I was playing with Adel in my bed and she was leaning back on a pillow. She wasn't totally flat, but the incline was very slight. Much less than the carseat or swing. She started to lift her head and body, pushing herself forward... forward... until she actually SAT UP! She was sitting for about two seconds until she came crashing on top of me. Of course, I cheered.

My midwife, Marcy called me today. She said there is a woman here in BP who is planning on having a homebirth. She wanted to give her my number so she'd have someone to connect with and talk about it. It's not her first child (don't remember the number- didn't hear it clearly over the phone) and some of her family members aren't so supportive. She doesn't have internet. I'm so curious how she learned about the concept of homebirthing then- and how she found Marcy. I hope this lady decides to call. I'd love to help out and offer chizuk.~~~~~~~~~~~~
Pesach is sooner than I care to think about. Time to get down to business! Today Hillel bought new blinds for the kitchen, and it looks and feels so fresh! The other ones were ancient. Don't know why we didn't replace them sooner. They're here for the 2 1/2 years we live in our apartment, and were already used by the previous tenant for who knows how long.~~~~~~~~~~~~
A family we are friends with just had their first baby on Shushan Purim. They are the couple for whom we made the Shabbos Kalla before the wedding one year ago. Chaya also came to help me out when Adel was born. I wasn't able to stay alone, but my midwife and doula had to leave. So Chaya came and helped out.So now she had a baby. We lent them our car seat and gave them our bassinet. Adel isn't using it anymore, and I was planning to give it away. (Don't want to save it- we'll get a new one when it's needed. I'd rather have the extra space.) So it worked out great that I found someone I knew to give it to. I took off all the fabric and washed it with stain removal (wasn't planning on doing that if someone I don't know would take it.) It really looks good! Better than when I took it out for Adel.
I also packed up some of the boys' baby clothes for her (again, space is more important now, and I don't feel like saving anything but my favorite pieces. Who knows if and when we'll have another boy that we should save all the clothes.) And I got some new things for them, too.

Adel's nap schedule barely allows me to get to cheider on time to pick Zusha up. Maybe I should work it out that this nap should take place in the stroller, while we are out.~~~~~~~~~~~~
Today we saw Pesachia, the boy from the Berkowitz family that we visited on Purim that will be Bar mitzva in a couple of weeks. He's really good with kids. He always played with Zusha and Gedalya when we came to their house. Zusha remembered his name, and that made Pesachia so happy.
