Now that the days are a little warmer, I don't usually put hats on the boys. If it gets cold enough, they have hoods. But today, on my way out to pick Zusha up, I put a different coat on Gedalya because his usual one was dirty. This coat didn't have a hood, and I didn't take a hat along.
The weather was supposed to be nice, anyhow- mid fifties! But it really didn't feel that warm.
So I unbuttoned my hood off my coat and put it on Gedalya's head. I used little pony holders to fasten it.
Zusha got a little exasperated with me and said, "Why didn't you take a HAT for Gedalya?"
"Because I didn't know it would be so cold."
"You thought it would be warmer?"
"Yes."
"So, why didn't you check the weather? You can call, or check it on the computer..."
