The Great, Wonderful Purim!

While Purim took place on Monday night and Tuesday, our Purim actually began on the previous Friday- with the arrival of something really exciting! My friend from Crown Heights sent us a Shalach Manos in the mail. It really added a lot to our Shabbos. :)

On Monday night I went to hear the Megilla by myself while all the kids were home with my husband, asleep. Then I came home and put the finishing touches on Gedalya's costume.

And then in the morning.....
Oh, look! The crayons colored on their baby sister!

Introducing!
Yellow Crayon

Purple Crayon

And the Little Paper that has to deal with the Crayons on a daily basis. :D

First I went with Zusha to Megillah.

He took along his arts & crafts Sefer Torah, which he made all by himself (his own idea, initiative and work!)

When we came home, I fed Adel, got everyone ready,

...and out we went!

We first gave Shalach Manos to Mrs. Loeb (our landlady downstairs.) Then we went to the Feders.
The Feder kids all got so big! Almost beyond recognition. KA"H.

Tzippora Rochel holding Adel. I don't even have to think too far back to remember holding Tzippora Rochel the same way. :)

Perel Malka and Yisroel Aharon... with Gedalya looking on.

And then we were on our way once more.

It is the nature of wild Crayons to attack baby Papers with kisses and love and many scribbles.

We went to the Berkowitz family next. B"H their family is full of simchos these days! Their second daughter just got married, their first married daughter is home from Israel (for the chasuna and for Pesach) and will be having her second baby while staying here at her parents. and their oldest son's Bar Mitzva is in a few weeks. B"H!
I nursed Adel at their house, we stayed a bit to shmooze, and continued on.

Our last plan was to meet my mother. After we met up, we all went home together.

We opened some shalach manos, spent some time together, and I prepared to boys for bed.
It was a long day... very tiring, but oh, so wonderful! Some great memories for everyone.
