One Year Ago

One year ago today, I woke up at 4 AM with contractions. By 7 AM I called my midwife and doula... and shortly after 9 AM our little itty bitty made her grand appearance!

And now, we celebrate. :D

Adel woke up on Simchas Torah morning to lots of mazal tov wishes and singing. We didn't have a chance to celebrate because amidst all the hakafos and Adel's naps, the whole family wasn't available at once. We were planning to do a replay the day after so we can take photos, but it worked out even better- now we can take pictures of the actual party!

Yay. :)

    and a year ago, when you woke up with contractions i was quite nicely in active labor. my lovely labor was from 3-5:33 & it was just beautiful (especially the posterior, asynclitic head part that my dr neglected to mention until he was out. did i mention that i love my dr?) sorry for crashing. couldn't exactly post this on facebook.
