So this really made my day: After I put Adel to sleep, I discovered she had a dirty diaper. I went on to clean her in her sleep, and she didn't wake up!
I know, right?
That, and the fact that Adel's kidneys are beautiful and perfect! Yes, they are. I even have a photo to prove it.
(It'll probably appear here on the day of the next specialist appointment, whenever that may be.
)And another day maker: we got ice cream for Adel's birthday! Individual gorgeous ice cream cakes. I will take a photo before Yom Tov.
We wanted to get balloons, but we'd probably fly away with them considering the abnormal winds we had today. (I let go of the stroller once out of curiosity and the wind blew it faster than I could walk! The boys and I had to run alongside, and we all laughed hysterically.) So we will buy the balloons tomorrow.Oh, and tomorrow is my last day of freedom. After that is Erev Yom Tov again (busybusy), Yom Tov, and the next day the therapies start. Which is when I will become glued to my house for the next forever. Not complaining, though!!
awww! i want ice cream cakes. the only ice cream cakes here aren't c"y. are you doing her birthday on yom tov? i didn't even think about it, but I really want to take pictures. maybe i'll do it on isru chag. after the lego adventure exhibit that we're going to.
ReplyDeleteWe will do something after YT as well, but I can't just do nothing on the actual birthday! Besides, Hillel is home and the next day will be therapy central so not too conducive to partying. Although we will do something so we can take photos. Maybe we will do a repeat on the 22nd just to maximize the partying options. :D
ReplyDeletei'm trying so hard to stay away from cake. maybe i'll get bakery cupcakes for dessert. i'm not going to make a homemade cake twice & pictures of dovy with cake may very possibly be priceless.
ReplyDeleteBA couldn't care less about birthdays. so i don't know if it matters anyway in that arena.
Hillel also doesn't care about birthdays, but it matters to me if he's there, even if he has no choice because it's a YT seuda. :P
