Adi's tushie gave me a big surprise... a little more exciting than the usual surprises.
So there I was, my eyes tearing up in disbelief. Soon she will harness this skill to her advantage and will use it to really get around! and then she surprised me even more. I wanted to see her do it again, so this morning I said, "Adel, fahr." ("Ride" in Yiddish.) And she scooted.
Ten minutes later when I finally found my eyes that popped out of their sockets and put them back in, I told her to ride again. And she rocked back and forth. And again, and again.
So, not only did she learn how to get around, she also understands when I ask her to do it!
And if that's not enough for you, today she just woke up in the morning and started babbling. Mamamamama. Memememememama. Mamababama.
I got the babbling on video and will post it soon. I wasn't able to get her scooting on video yet. Hopefully soon!
I'm one happy Mama today!
This more than makes up for the $200 bill I received for the renal sonogram which for some reason wasn't covered by insurance and the awful toothache I have that will likely end in a root canal sooner rather than later...
