Just some photos from a month ago that I haven't posted yet...
Adel's first ride! Look how excited she is.

With each kid, I start putting them on quarter rides younger and younger.
Zusha's first experience was at 11 months. He was old enough to comprehend what was happening and old enough for me not to hold onto him. So we gave it a spin!
Gedalya's first experience was at 9 1/2 months. We went to Toys R Us at the bay, and Zusha was riding. One of the rides, an ice crean truck, had seats for two passengers, so we decided to add Gedalya on.
And with Adel, we tried even earlier! Zusha was in cheider, and I was out with only two kids (not as hectic). Gedalya wanted to go on a ride that had two seats. I took Adel out of the stroller while the ride was going, because it's a shame for her to sit there if I'm able to hold her.
And then on whim, I just placed her next to Gedalya for a little bit. She had so much fun for that one minute.

So, we went from 11 months with kid #1, to 9 1/2 months with kid #2, to 6 months with kid #3!
After the rides, we went to the park where Adel and I gave standing a try.
She was pretty unstable, and I had to hold one hand on her stomach the entire time. When she got tired, she started whimpering, but didn't want to let go. I guess she knew she'd fall. I had to pry her fingers off the fence.
And here she is one month later... standing all on her own (for a while already.)

Delicious!
ReplyDeleteps really love the delighted expression of her on the ride
ReplyDeleteThanks. :)
ReplyDeleteI was surprised at her reaction. I didn't think she'd notice anything unusual going on.
