Recently a poster on Imamother (#1cook) put up pictures of her kids and I recognized them. We figured out that we know each other from this library program.
I went there last week, and when we saw each other we knew right away who each of us was on the forum.
After the program, I put Adel on the carpet to play with the toys, and another lady sat down with her baby and said, "They look about the same age."
So we made small talk and at some point I started connecting things, and then I just went ahead and asked if she was on Imamother, and she was! (That's bnm.)
So we had a mini Imamother meet.
I don't take the kids so often because of the scheduling (cheider ends 1/2 hour after the program begins) but I'm looking forward to the summer when we will have the opportunity.
And then today in the park a lady approached me and said, "Excuse me, but I recognize your kids from pictures online." Haha! It was ra_mom. How cute! I also see bigdeal and flowerpower in that park every so often.
That's cool! I miss the imamother meets. I have to check out our local library. With the whole non-kosher animal thing, it makes going to the library something I never considered in the past. But maybe I will give it a whirl. Adel sits so nicely! Her expressions are so intent and focused.
ReplyDeleteToday I was sitting in the car waiting for my husband to come back. I finished feeding YY and was tired of holding him. I decided to sit him down in the passenger side seat and see what happened. Boy, was he thrilled! He spent most of the next 10 minutes gratefully smiling at me.
Yeah, Adel is getting better at sitting every day. :)
ReplyDeleteHow cute about YY's car experience. It's so funny to see what they know and understand. It seems like they are so little, but they really are more complex than they let on!
