Scribbles in Middle of Class

My boy... doodling in class already... tsk tsk tsk. The Rebbe gives out Parsha coloring pages, and while the rest of the kids color, Zusha turns the paper to the blank side and draws his own thing.

But in actuality, I'm proud of him. I'm not much into coloring. I like for kids to express themselves. I think drawing is something that children should be able to do as a first option. For some reason, though, coloring is much more popular.

In any case, some class scribbles worth sharing:

Staircases:

One of the loves of his life- trains.
This train is traveling on menora tracks! :haha:

And this one, on numbers, letters and oisiyos tracks. :)

One of his favorite themes to draw is Yom Tov related items. Especially Chanuka, as seen in the picture of the tracks above.

This picture is pretty full. I will describe it part by part, starting with the menora on the left. Continuing on clockwise, you'll see a musical note, an octopus, a crab, another purple object which I'm unsure about, a big yellow box of matches, and finally, a yellow musical dreidel. It has a yellow Hei on it and pink holes from which the music emanates. The purple squiggles show the sound coming out of the dreidel, and some more musical notes around it.

This is a more Pesach themed picture. Starting from the top, going clockwise:
Maror root, big green lettuce leaf (also maror), yellow matza, dish with charoses, and... a menora and dreidel? lol.

Now this is something I absolutely love. Zusha drew two phones. The first one has all the buttons in the right order. And the second one has buttons in the order of our phone number! It's a bit cryptic, so only someone who knows it can recognize it.

When Zusha brings home coloring pages, I eagerly turn to the back to see the creations!
