Doodle Boys and Their Sister

Purim prep is underway! First I thought of a way to use the celery costumes again. I figured Gedalya could wear the full celery costume, Adel could wear the leafy hat with an orange bunting for a carrot, and I'd make some other vegetable for Zusha to co-ordinate.

But then it would be a lot of work, so for that same effort, I might as well make totally new costumes. I thought of crayons, since that's something they can wear over their coats. Although it's not too original, it's still cute.

But then someone suggested that I can make the boys into crayons, and Adel can be the paper they scribbled on! Now THAT is cute!

Zusha chose (surprise, surprise!) yellow, and Gedalya chose purple.
This is the fleece fabric I'm ordering to make tunics. Then I'll make all kinds of other details.

For Adel, I will take a pillowcase and have the kids unleash their artistic capabilities. :) Then I'll fashion it into a tunic that will go over her snowsuit.
I'm so excited. :)
