I got a new cleaning lady, B"H a million times over! She speaks a better English, which is helpful, and she doesn't do a 100% thorough deep clean each time. Which I'm OK with. I like it better that way, because I don't need her to move away all the boxes and whatever else in the kitchen each time the floor is washed, and I don't need every basin and bucket and washing cup scrubbed with each bathroom cleaning. It saves time, and when I want a deep-clean, I can call my regular lady, when she gets back from Mexico. :)
And the best part... this new one doesn't require a minimum of 5 hours. So I can take her 2 weeks on, 1 week off instead of 1 week on, 2 weeks off like with the old one. I also don't have to pay her transportation (insert eye-roll @@) So that saves $4 off the bat. I will take her for 3 hours, which will cost $30, instead of the $54 I used to pay for 5 hours. YEAH.
Oh, and I am sick. :( Again. Yesterday I was so dizzy, I felt like I was in a moving car. I actually threw up from the sensation of motion. Today my throat is sore. I hope to get it checked out tomorrow, and not go into Shabbos like that. Because if it's strep, I do NOT want to leave it till I can't swallow from the swelling.
