What Does One Have to Do to Get Attention Around Here??

This child felt neglected...

...with all the brouhaha on around Adi. And he decided to get attention!

By getting bitten by a hamster. And by falling off a carousel in a new park we visited, landing on his bitten finger. It swelled up right away. I thought we'd have to go to the ER, but he stopped crying right away and didn't act hurt. The next day it was still swollen but didn't look like it was hurting. The day after that we went to the specialists with Adel and by the time we came home, the finger was white and pussy.
That bite had almost healed, but probably opened again with the impact.

But by then it was late and all doctors were closed. B"H there is a nighttime office open here in BP for such occurrences, so after a whole day shlepping around to doctors with Adi, I took Yaya and trooped off to the office 0.9 miles away. There was no bus in sight, so we walked. Both ways.

But it was nice. I got to spend a lot of one-on-one time with Gedalya... and he got fun toys to play with in the waiting room.
The doctor prescribed an antibiotic cream... it doesn't seem to have taken effect yet... I hope it will soon.
