Gedalya has this cute new tone full of attitude. Today I went out with Zusha while the rest of the gang stayed home with Hillel. We came back with some treats for Gedalya as promised. I was about to give Gedalya a mini ice cream cone, when Hillel came to show me which pages of Alef-Beis Gedalya read while I was out.
He told Gedalya to show me, and the kid, not taking his eyes off the ice cream, said, "Ok, yeah," in such a dismissive tone, it was just hysterical! Then my husband turned to the other page they read and asked Gedalya to show me, and again, "Yeah, yeah."
Nothing was going to distract him from the most important thing- the ice cream!
Also, when he leaves the room after playing with Adel, he says, "Okay, Adel, one minute, Gedalya will come back," in a very authoritative tone. :) He usually says that if she's crying.
A couple of weeks ago we went to the park, but due to the early sunset, it was already dark, even though it wasn't late. As we entered, Gedalya announced, "The fountain is off because it is dark." The fact that it was 30-something degrees might also have something to do with it. ;)
