Finally, Real Snow!

As soon as the weather cools down in the fall, Zusha keeps asking for snow. In order to give him a frame of reference, last year we told him it will snow around Chanuka time. And B"H it did! Otherwise, he'd never let me live it down. LOL.

This year, our first real snowfall was right before Chanuka. It was on Friday, so I cooked as fast as possible, bundled up the boys, and took them out to play in the front yard about an hour before shabbos.

We made a snowman, too!

Then today, Zusha was in cheider and I took Gedalya out. The snow was still around, and it was very icy. He enjoyed it a lot!

We also bought a new menora for Gedalya, since he unscrewed parts from his last year's and lost some pieces.

Tonight was the first night. Zusha lit the menora he made in cheider. From WOOD. Brilliant.
