So Gedalya, wanting to be like his big brother, also asks me to look at him and just stands there smiling. :)
Sometimes Zusha points out something interesting in the street, which Gedalya doesn't notice. But he still wants to belong, so he will pretend to notice.
Which brings us to Gedalya's most valuable new word: is, or rather eet.
One time Zusha saw a pedestrian crossing light which had "WALK" and "DON'T WALK" on at the same time. He said, "Look, Mama, it's both! It's funny!"
Then the walk signal went off, leaving only the don't walk.
Zusha said, "Oh, now it's not funny."
Gedalya, not following any of this, was not to be left out.
"EET pani," he said.
"No, it's not funny," Zusha answered.
"EET!"
"No!"
"EET!!!"
Another time the boys were looking out the window at twilight.
"Koonkoon (dark)," Gedalya said.
"No, it's ALMOST toonkel, " answered Zusha.
"Eet koonkoon."
"No!"
"EEEET!"
........
That is too funny!!!
