Week Three

I think I am finally catching up... sort of. Two weeks behind, not that bad!

Third week of July:

On Sunday morning Gedalya burst into my room, shouting about his newly discovered loose tooth. Yay! It's the crooked one on the bottom in this photo.

Wiggle*wiggle!

This is how I know it's time to clean the camera lens. When the dust starts showing in the photos in bright sunlight.

Monday: Library and park.
This is where Gedalya was running when he fell and split his knee this week Monday. But the Monday in these photos was calamity-free.

What happens when you get too close to the action and get water splashes on the lens! :D

Adi loves the water, but will not even look at the sprinklers until she spends at least half an hour in the swings. And if I attempt to take her off too soon, she signs "more." And when she does it this politely, how can I refuse?

Wow! All three of them got in the same frame. It's a miracle. I don't usually have time or energy to match Adi to the boys, even though she has many clothes in similar color schemes. But that day I did coordinate them... large solid areas of bright colors, and some black.

Tuesday:
Possibly the hottest day of the year. We made the mistake of making up to meet some therapists in a park. Dumb move! The PT wanted to work with Adi on some park equipment, and right before PT is speech therapy. So we had to have it all in the park.

The boys enjoy a tangerine snack...

...while Adi does her thing.

Wednesday:
We were going to go to the library for an arts and crafts program, but the boys took too long to get dressed, and by the time they did, Adi fell asleep.

So we missed the program. We went to the park instead. This park is 1.3 miles from our house, and it was the second time going there that week, so we really logged some exercise!
The sprinklers were off. :( But we met three families that we knew there, and had fun!

Adi with Tehilla, her friend that she met in the library a year ago.

That was one hot week! Going home from the park, you could SEE the heat. My glasses fogged up when went out of an air conditioned grocery. You were able to see the humidity swirling around the street lights. This picture is completely in focus:

On Thursday Gedalya's tooth fell out! He put it in a little clear locket and took it to the park with him. :)

Since our move, I haven't really found a grocery that I love and that is close by. But then we stumbled upon a grocery not too far away. We didn't discover it at first because it's in a direction we don't usually go in. So that Friday we made a delivery there. On the way home the kids spotted a little police mini patrol car that at first they thought was real. But then we realized it's a ride. So there we were, in the 100+ degree heat, the only people crazy enough to go out, feeding quarters to a riding machine.

Now I only have weeks 4 and 5 to write about. :)
