So it's really fall, huh? I guess with all the brouhaha with yom tov after yom tov, I didn't really pay attention to autumn creeping up.
In my mind I was still here:
Meanwhile, the rains are falling...
The coats and hats are making their appearance...
The umbrellas are getting good use...
And maybe the best of all, the colors! The lovely, calm, earthy colors.
Each season has its beauty.
Which stunning park were those summer pictures taken in?
ReplyDelete18th Ave. in BP. It only *looks* gorgeous. LOL. It's not very well thought out. There is only one shady spot to sit in, and it's far from all the play areas. There is absolutely no bench from which you can see the sprinkler area, so you have to stand the whole time your kids are playing. There isn't a stitch of shade near the sprinklers as well.
ReplyDeleteAnd the layout is made in a way that it's nearly impossible to see your kids on the climbing areas for some reason. You can't ever just scan the park with your eyes and see your kids. It's gorgeous and fun, but if it weren't one block away from my son's cheider, we'd totally avoid it.
You have got to check out the new (opened this past July) Imagination Playground at the South Street Seaport--John Street between South and Front Streets. And when you do, give me a call, I'll come right over (20 minute walk!) We LOVE that place!!!
ReplyDeleteI love taht coat :)
ReplyDeleteI googled imagination playground. that place looks AMAZING, what a pity it's so untzniusdig inthe summer (since the adults seem to hang out in bathing suits.) Not a place my dh would come to, but my kids wouldve loved it.
