My Handsome Six Year Old

Is this boy handsome, or what?

He makes a lovely six year old!

As usual, we had many celebrations.
On his actual birthday, my in-laws came to picnic with us in the park.

We went to pick Zusha up together, picked up pizza and milkshakes on the way, and headed on over to a nice shady picnic table at the park.

Then we took the lovely opportunity to take photos in this shady green setting.

There are so many photos! I'm only going to make the best ones large, to save on loading time. :)

This is the type of photo I wish I had with my grandparents. Alas, I only have a couple with my grandfather, and none with my grandmother.

I know the kids will cherish these photos some day!

Then the grandparents headed home and we all marched over to the "Birthday Park." It's a local indoor play area that has lots of soft climbing structures and a few rides.

 Zusha and Gedalya rode the little roller coaster. You can see they had a blurry good time! :D

 Poor Adi wasn't allowed to go on the speeding coaster, so what could she do but gaze longingly at her brothers through the glass?

Not to worry! There is also a slow little train that rides around the park, so she enjoyed that with Mama.

 And the boys enjoyed their fast ride, time...

...after time!

It was an exhausted bunch of people that made their way home that evening. But not too tired for presents!
Zusha tried out his "scratch art" without delay. :)

Then, on a different day...

We packed up some fruit, veggies and drinks... a tablecloth... and pizza... and had another picnic, at another park, with my mother this time.

 Then we went on home for dessert!

A lovely birthday, many exciting celebrations, fun balloons...

One amazing six-year-old in the coolest birthday crown in town! (Made by the birthday boy himself. :D)

And a perfect end to a perfect birthday.
