and I don't feel like I should be seriously Pesach cleaning yet, but hello?? When Pesach is five weeks away and you haven't started... and your cleaning lady calls you to ask when she should come... Well, am I in trouble?
I'm really starting to yearn for spring. Winter is always a hard season for me.
A year ago we had a warm day in February when we almost reached 60 degrees. These are the days I refuel and am able to keep going till the next warm day, and then till spring. This year, there really weren't any such days. There was a day in mid-January where it got into the low 40s, and my boys insisted on taking their coats off for a short time...
But it was nothing like the wonderful three-day treat we had exactly two years before. Oh, I would really love something like that now.
I keep stalking accuweather.com for any chance of good news, but this is all I see:

The dark red and dark blue are the actual high and low temperatures. The light red and light blue are the Real Feel. Over the next two weeks, the high temperatures will actually decline and the lows will keep at a steady level of right-under-thirty.
The RealFeel low is too low for me to even comment... while the Reel Feel high dips lower than the actual low!
*sigh*
*sigh*
The only sign of spring I see are little buds appearing on this tree:
which is sort of encouraging. I'd just like to see the cute little lines on the temperature chart to start climbing up.
Well, I have put away Adel's bunting from her carriage. It got soaked from snow and I took it out to wash it. Since she's getting a bit too big for it, and since I'm hoping to greet spring very soon, I didn't put it back in the carriage. Let's hope the weather is kind enough to participate!
I hope spring is here soon!!

We have a winter storm watch for tonight. There was a snowstorm here on the exact same dates when Lealiza was born. Driving home from the hospital was just beautiful.
ReplyDeleteWay to dash my delicate hope, man.
ReplyDeleteYou're getting a storm too
