On one of the days we had a little party of sorts. A friend of mine from some weird place in the midwest was visiting some weird place in the east (NY) and we planned a get-together. Being that this friend is very popular, a whole bunch of other friends of ours (and some of their kids) came by to get a chance to meet her.
I really would have enjoyed it more had Adel not had a panic attack measuring on the higher end of the Richter scale. I guess she isn't used to having a crowd in her home? I dunno.
Unfortunately some of our friends had to leave early and being that the entire time they were here I was busy calming Adel, it was kinda disappointing. Luckily, though, the midwest friend (otherwise known as CR) was able to stay longer... and Adel had taken a nap and was in a better mood. So we did end up having some fun. :)
I did not get a single picture the entire day, but made up for it later with all the pictures I took of CR's three cuties. :)
Here are just some of them.
When they were getting ready to leave, we decided to take a group picture. If you think I get good photo fails when photographing just my three, can you imagine the hilarity opportunities when photographing six children, ages 1-6?? Oh, boy. Believe me, this was something to witness!
But... this post is long enough. :) The fail pictures are too special to be lost within a long post. Stay tuned!
(If anyone still wants to post their guesses in this post, please do! I will announce the answers sometime in the next couple of days.)
Hey I know those kids. They are a little unfamiliarly angelic looking, but otherwise... Can't wait for the fail post, that was too funny for words.
ReplyDeleteI also love how my extremely blue eyed child looks hazel eyed in those sepia pictures. I had a double take moment there.
ReplyDeletegorgeous!!1
ReplyDeleteUnfamiliarly angelic... huh. :) That reminds me of a comment someone made in the Cutie of the Week thread a while back...
ReplyDeleteSomething along the lines of my kids looking so sweet and lovable that one can hardly imagine all those stories of shampoo lakes, peeing out the window, and grocery store wreckage my kids cause.
Yep, I make up those stories for my own entertainment, because my docile children just bore me to tears. :P
I posted a pic on facebook a while back of the girls sitting & watching the fish. And someone made a comment about how she finds it hard believing my stories after this picture. The next picture I posted was of Chayale sitting on top of her dresser with destruction all around her. I think she was too shocked to respond. That said, you can totally see that Chayale is my feisty one in these pictures.
ReplyDeletePeeing out the WINDOW? I guess I just have girls. TG no one has thought of that yet.
ReplyDeletemy boys dont do that either
ReplyDeleteYET!
