Zusha...
...is very into planets and space right now. We are busy finding solar system videos on YouTube and I bought two really nice books about space. (They have real, colorful, huge photos!)
Funny line: Zusha was telling me what kind of arts and crafts he will make. He told me he will make a horse and a wagon. I asked him to describe what it will look like. He answered, "You know, a wagon where people ride, and horses. The people who take their horses with them when they go somewhere. They tie them to their wagon so they wouldn't get lost."
Heh heh. A child of the times.
Gedalya...
...learned to pronounce rrr! The real, rolling r sound. Before he used to say l instead. When Zusha would torment him about his pronunciation sometimes, Gedalya would reply, "I don't know lll, I know lll." (I don't know rrr, I know lll.) (I'd quickly put an end to Zusha's teasing by telling him that he pronounced r the same way until he was 4 or older.) Well, now that Gedalya has r he pronounces it really strongly and stretches it whenever he uses it!
He's also learning how to spell! We have a couple of electronic games that teach letters and their sounds, so by sounding out the letters, the boys are able to spell simple words like "cat," "pop," "up" and more.
Here Gedalya wrote... can you guess what?
He was kinda insulted that I didn't guess right away that this is, "the beach!" (Get it? H = ch sound?)
"They can be whatever shoes you want."
"Okay, then they will be Monday shoes."

The girls say hi, and they loved the post!
