I had lost one of Zusha's socks. I keep single socks in a little baggie, and usually after several loads of laundry, the match is found. But one sock stayed in that baggie for way too long. Several months. I was about to just throw it out on several occasions, but then figured that it's not taking up any space- there are always some socks in that bag. What's one more?

When we pulled out the winter gear and Zusha put on his fall jacket for the first time, he wasn't able to close it. The velcro wasn't sticking. And then he showed me why- there was a sock stuck to it!

It was a very happy reunion.

I had tucked Gedalya's peyos under his hat because they were getting all messy and going into his face.
