Tidbits

*I bought a can of chalkboard paint- you paint it onto the wall and that area becomes a chalkboard! I hope that will keep the Poozils from playing "cheider" by using the walls as the board.
In any case, Gedalya noticed the can of paint and brought it to me excitedly, "Mama, what's this? Corny? Open it!" :D

*Adel was lying next to me in bed, drifting between sleeping and awakening. Gedalya came over and exclaimed, "Adel is a tractor!"
"Uh, how's that?"
"She has tractor eyes."
"Oh, really?"
"Yes! One small eye and one big eye!"
(One of her eyes was open wider than the other, and it reminded Gedalya of tractor wheels, where one set is larger than the other. LOL!!!)

*We are sick. :( All of us. It's been continuing on and off, and I'm all ready to end these illnesses! Zusha has been throwing up a lot, and waking up with high fever. Then yesterday morning Gedalya also woke up with a fever. So we got the gang ready and packed up to go to the doctor. Hillel came along, too.
Zusha is sick, has an ear infection (his second one in his life) and is taking antibiotics. Gedalya had a culture done and I will know the results soon. Adel is also sick, but B"H for nursing (!) -her only symptom is a runny nose.

*The boys gave Adel a new nickname. "Yiddishe Chometz Cornchip." Oh, yeah. I must say, I love it!

*I had a babysitter this morning. In the form of a hugemongous machine arriving on our block to trim the branches of the trees. It had a bucket-like place for a person to stand, and it extended up high on a long arm. So there it was, that massive machine, and a guy with a power saw being lifted up right to our window. Woaw. The boys watched, mesmerized, for about half an hour, as the branch bits cascaded down to the ground and were fed to the machine which turned them into wood chips.

*I need to go to sleep, but don't want to until Adel wakes up, because if I do, she will wake up crying 10 minutes after I fall asleep, and there's nothing worse than to be woken 10 minutes into your sleep.
