I came back at around 1:00 pm. He was finishing lunch. The second he saw me, he shouted, "Mama, what did Rebbi give to Zusha?! Kartofala Mentch! (Mr. Potato Head)"
He looked really happy, Baruch Hashem. The Rebbi told me that he cried for about 1/2 hour. Then they found his stroller in the hallway and brought it in. Zusha sat in it quietly for a while and then went to join the games again.
That was Monday. That night he spiked a fever, poor child. So we kept him home for the rest of the week. He went back today very happily. The entire time he was home, he was begging me to take him to cheider. He promised me that he won't be sick, he'll be a good boy.
Today he cried much less. The Rebbi told me that he didn't actually sit and cry- just cried a little bit every hour or so.
We're making progress.
